Usui Reiki - Energy Medicine
What is Reiki?
Healing the world begins with healing yourself.
The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. Reiki is an energy healing technique. Mikao Usui developed Usui Reiki Ryoho, the most current form of Reiki, in 1922. However, people have practiced Reiki for around 2,500 years.

People also refer to Reiki as palm healing or hands-on healing. Reiki aims to help the flow of energy and remove energetic blocks. Reiki can improve the flow of energy around the body, enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.

Emotional Release: Reiki's calming effect can facilitate the release of suppressed emotions like grief, anger, or fear. This emotional catharsis can help mend emotional wounds and foster feelings of love, forgiveness, and acceptance.

Stress Reduction: By activating the parasympathetic nervous system (rest-and-digest), Reiki can reduce stress and anxiety, lowering blood pressure and improving sleep quality. This, in turn, can indirectly benefit various bodily functions.

Spiritual Connection: Reiki can deepen one's connection to their inner self and the Universe. This can lead to greater clarity, purpose, and a sense of belonging.

Distance Reiki
Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all connected, as we are all made of energy and part of a larger whole. Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the energy field of the recipient regardless of where they are in the world.

My Credentials
Usui Reiki Master + Lightarian Reiki Master
I am an Usui Reiki Master (since 2019) and have worked at the Charlotte Maxwell clinic working with breast cancer patients in Oakland California. This experience has taught me invaluable lessons and I am grateful to all of the women for their kindness and patience as I learned.

In 2022, I studied Lightarian Reiki in an effort to strengthen and extend my energy work. I have completed the program and now am a Lightarian Reiki Master.
What Happens During a Distance Reiki Session?
1. I tune into your aura and astral body to determine the current state of your energy as well as locate current disturbances.
2. I work with the Archangels, Raphael and Metatron, to heal those disturbances, heal your aura, and to heal your astral energy body
3. At times I may receive images and if so, I will share those with you after the reading.
4. I end the session with healing all chakras, restoring balance to your body and energy system, and sealing you up in a dome of golden light.
5. I will send you a report after the session complete with any messages I've received from spirit.
What Happens After the Distance Session?
1. I will email you a report about each Chakra and the ailments that were addressed during the session.
2. I will email you any messages I receive from spirit with explanations. These usually come in image/symbolic form.
3. I will email any recommendations I received from spirit about your health, well-being, pain management, and areas of improvement.
30 Minute Distance Reiki Session
I currently offer Distance Reiki sessions for 30 minutes long. I will schedule a date with you for the distance Reiki session.
In advance of the session, I will also ask you to email me a photo of yourself, along with your name, and any intention you have of what you want the session to support (e.g. a physical or health issue, goal, or challenge).
