Usui Reiki - Energy Medicine

What is Reiki?
The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. Reiki is an energy healing technique. Mikao Usui developed Usui Reiki Ryoho, the most current form of Reiki, in 1922. However, people have practiced Reiki for around 2,500 years.
People also refer to Reiki as palm healing or hands-on healing. Reiki aims to help the flow of energy and remove energetic blocks. Reiki can improve the flow of energy around the body, enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
What happens in a Reiki session?
During a session, the client will sit in a comfortable chair or lie on a table, fully clothed.
The practitioner will then scan the energy body to detect energetic disturbance. The practitioner will place their hands lightly on or over specific areas of the client’s head, limbs, and torso. They will typically keep their hands in these positions for 3-10 minutes.
If there is a particular injury, such as a burn, the practitioner will hold their hands just above the wound.
While the practitioner holds their hands lightly on or over the body, an energy transfer takes place. During this time, the practitioner may report that their hands feel warm or are tingling. They will hold each hand position until they sense that the energy has stopped flowing.
Distance Reiki
Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all connected, as we are all made of energy and part of a larger whole. Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the energy field of the recipient.
I am a Reiki Master (since 2019) and have worked at the Charlotte Maxwell clinic working with breast cancer patients in Oakland California. This experience has taught me invaluable lessons and I am grateful to all of the women for their kindness and patience as I learned.
In 2022, I studied Lightarian Reiki in an effort to strengthen and extend my energy work. I have completed the program and now am a Lightarian Reiki Master.
When I perform a Reiki Session -
1. I tune into your aura and astral body to determine the current state of your energy as well as locate current disturbances.
2. I work with the Archangels, Raphael and Metatron, to heal those disturbances, heal your aura, and to heal your astral energy body
3. At times I may receive images and if so, I will share those with you after the reading.
4. I end the session with healing all chakras, restoring balance to your body and energy system, and sealing you up in a dome of golden light.
5. I will send you a report after the session complete with any messages and/or messages I've received from spirit.
Thirty minute Distance Reiki Session
I currently only offer Distance Reiki. Distance Reiki is 30 minutes long. I will schedule a date with you for the distance Reiki session.
In advance of the session, I will also ask you to email me a photo of yourself, along with your name, and any intention you have of what you want the session to support (e.g. a physical or health issue, goal, or challenge).
